Hey there! Today we feature the amazing nosedivve in our +WriterWatch! He's been here for quite a while, and his writing is sure to astound you.

Hello there! Is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself before the nitty-gritty?
Hiya! I don't think so...this kind of question makes me feel nervous because I don't know what people would want to know about me, or what to really say. I'm sorry about that.

When did you begin writing?
I believe I began writing when I was about five years old; given those were mainly picture books since I was still learning how to read, but I still tried to write. I'm not really sure why I began writing. I think I just liked the idea of them, which would stem back from when I can first remember. I'd always ask my mother to make up a story because hearing the same ones over and over again became boring. She'd always tell me how much she couldn't make them up very well, and didn't like to. One day she told me, “Why don't you just make up your own?” That could have started it, however I'm not entirely sure.

You're quite well-known in the literature community around here. To what do you attribute the almost-magnetic pull?

Well, in the beginning, when I began to care about this account and realized there was a literature community (which was about February of last 2013), I was really active. I wanted to find more people and make some friends. So I commented a lot, suggested Daily Literature Deviations, suggested Daily Deviations, and created a few forum posts. I suppose that is what aided to the most in regards to my being "well-known".

Unsurprisingly, you've received two (count them) two DD's! One of them particularly caught my eye, named 'The Colossus'. Could you tell us a bit about this piece? And maybe a bit on 'Part-Time Hooker'?

I wrote The Colossus back in October and I was really into Egyptian like imagery and metaphors and whatnot, and I also recently had a fight with my sister.... I just let the poem write itself even though it's quite heavily exaggerated on a personal experience.

Part-Time Hooker was inspired by a song called Part-Time Hooker (by Betty Blowtorch). I slightly based it off the song (the hooker part) and added my own twist.

Could you please describe your ideal meal?

My mom's home-made Mac n Cheese with breadcrumbs on the top! It's the bomb!

If you could have lunch with any (living or dead) person in the world, who would it be?

I'd love to have lunch with my grandmother. She died when I was eight and there are so many things I want to ask her, but didn't get to because I didn't have the knowledge (that's behind my questions in mind) back when she was alive. But most importantly, it'd be great to see her again. I don't really miss her, but it would just be nice, you know?

What is your favorite part about the literature community? Least favorite? What would you change, if anything?

My favorite part of the literature community is how close and connected everyone is and that's also my least favorite. It's my favorite because it makes so many people, who are within it, feel welcome; it's my least favorite because its presence can easily make people feel uncomfortable, I think.

I don't think I would change anything, to be honest.

Could you link us to some pieces by your favorite writers? From your own gallery?

My favorite pieces, that I keep coming back to, are these five: handle with care by lupus-astraprussianpersephone.deviantart.… ), all of your lives have been addictsby tubefed ( tubefed.deviantart.com/art/all… ), . by oaklungs (oaklungs.deviantart.com/art/--… ), desolate by anobrainanobrain.deviantart.com/art/de…), and hang, by marlboroblacksmarlboroblacks.deviantart.com/… ).

My favorite poems of my own are KatoptrisOn PartingElsa, ElsaLiving Forest, and The Colossus

Who are you inspired by, both on and off dA?

I'm inspired by so many people here on DeviantART, but I'm probably most inspired by diddlyhohum and anobrain - they're both very kind and extremely talented; quite brilliant, honestly.

There's a dancing banana in your living room. How do you react?

I would probably wonder why my life turned into an old-time cartoon and take a nap because I'd obviously need one after seeing that.... XD

And finally, do you have any advice for new writers hoping to make an impact on the Lit Community here on dA?

The most important thing is being able to accept criticism/being open to change within your own writings, and the second most important thing is to be active; never expect you will get support without giving in return and/or beforehand.

Any parting words?

Thank you so much for this opportunity! I'm honored and delighted that you interviewed me.
